Rituals For Remembering
Rituals For Remembering
Rituals For Remembering
Thursday May 7, 7:30pm & Sunday May 10, 8pm
Venue: PETE Studio (2259 NW Raleigh)
Weaving the comedic with the dramatic, real life story with fantastical imagery, fun dance sequences with trippy looping sound – Rituals for Remembering invites us to reflect on what we need to forget to be able to remember what's truly important. Accepting death is a constant process. This truth brings us closer to aliveness. Love does not exist without grief. This is an invitation to celebrate the glimmers of hope felt in the heart.
How do we decide what is important to remember, and set up reminders for ourselves so we don't forget? How do we meet ourselves and each other over and over again? Are we ready to be surprised by what's actually happening, now? And now? And now?
Run time: approx. 30 min
Reception to follow the Sunday showing!
Please note: Venue has a small 2” step up to a raised floor, so is unfortunately not an ADA accessible space. For any accessibility questions, please reach out to us at boxoffice@petensemble.org
