ICP Festival 2024

Welcome to the Tree of Vice, an experimental theater festival that explores interconnections — the invisible strands that run between family generations, life and death, real world and fantasy, the simultaneous desire for companionship and independence.

Tree of Vice runs May 9-12, 2024

More about the festival:

This festival is the culmination of the ICP training, where eight artists, guided by PETE, learned, grew, fought and found each other again and again, on the other side of our collision points, discovering in those spaces, something wild and sacred.

As we learned to devise collaboratively, a through line has been the exercise of naming Vice — a practice borrowed from theater legend Anne Bogart, in which the shared creators point to ingredients we see that belong in the worlds we long to create. And thus, as we bring this year of working together to an end, knowing the strands between us will remain long after the curtain closes, we celebrate our interconnected nature, by producing and performing a series of shows that will stretch across the city, like roots between a forest of trees.

You are cordially invited to join us in our Tree of Vice. All tickets are pay-what-you-will!
